Easter Timbres – Harmony 21
Kohra & Monophonik colaboran para producir los cuatro temazos que forman la referencia número 21 del sello Harmony Rec.
Indian producers Kohra and Monophonik join forces for Harmony’s 21st outing, a four-tracker that balances functionality with hypnotic depth. Opener ‘Uyire’ threads drones and gated vocal wisps through taut percussion, carrying a brooding volatility beneath its surface. ‘Wavefolding Dreams’ is sharper and more mechanical, its warped, wave-like modulations spilling over a slapping bassline before dissolving into pads that soften the edges. On the flip, ‘Eastern Timbres’ builds with trance-inflected basslines and cycling arpeggios, a rolling momentum that locks in for late-night floors. Closer ‘Neuroresonance’ pares things back to sliding drones and sustained chords, a reflective exhale after the darker drive. Together the EP feels both heavy and transportive, a precise distillation of Harmony’s deep-techno focus.
