Barcelona’s Cosmic Tribe doubles down on its commitment to the underground with Xtrictly Elektro 3, the third vinyl-only instalment in its eek-inducing electro series. Curated by vibe vizier Calagad 13, we hear a full six-pack of deadbolted electro drillings-in from X-Truder, EC13, 5ZYL, Mokotron, Spectrums Data Forces and Calagad 13 himself. There’s no ambient interlude or soft landing; Mokotron’s ‘I Got Next (Deep Vocal Version)’ and EC13’s extended mix of ‘Sonido Profundo’ both nod to classic enjambed jams, but retool them for fresh pressure.
