After a forward-bound run of eight digital releases, Polish purposers KYSH don a different cloak, temporarily acclimating to newly increased demand for crisp, hi-def and deep-grooved techno on vinyl. Five artists whose sounds informed the label’s vision of refined, emotive techno come together here: Glaskin open with ‘Reverb’, a submerged, bleep-driven collaboration with narrative artist Malwina, followed by Iglo’s deep and hypnotic ‘Recruiter’. Sicion injects muscular carbonic kickwork on ‘In Their Name’, while Yanamaste’s ‘Broken Wood’ further surges with highflown terror and spitting snareology. Closing the set, label regular Sept delivers ‘Down For The Summit’, a tension-packed Atacama crossing in sound.
