Berlin label Figure marks its 150th release with the One Hundred Fifty LP, a triple-vinyl survey of its past and present, triplicating both longtime faces and recent recruits in one heavyweight sweep. Len Faki steers the operation from the centre, with ‘Stardancer’ the tuneful follow-on from his recent full-length, while old sparring partners Jeroen Search and Decoder pare things down to bare circuitry on ‘Fiber’. Newer voices such as Jancen, Arthur Robert and IGLO push the label’s tunnel-eared techno to sharper, stronger, stranger shapes, from the rimed churn of ‘Voided Oasis’ to the pallid pulse of ‘Paraphrase’. Munich duo Glaskin, Brazilian producer Vinicius Honorio and French newcomer Arkan round out the same pyrotechnic set.
