Para la tercerea referencia del sello Kilotoni, su creador con el mismo nombre produce cuatro elegantes tracks originales.
Finnish artist and label Kilotoni supplies a third kiloton of hazardous materials after 2024’s ‘Forsmark’ and this year’s earlier follow-up, ‘Ringhals’, establishing a steady run of radioactive wax that we’re pretty sure hasn’t been RoHS approved. But we don’t care, because this faceless outsourcer of alienable audio wares is a candid sound designer, ‘Track 1’ and ‘Track 2’ bringing geiger-counting repetitions and obstinate yawps; only ‘Track 3’ and ‘Track 4’ have melodies, coming thick, viscous and flat like an all-consuming mutant entity. It’s a sure favourite for dancers who like to feel like they’re trespassing on the (nuclear testing) floor.
