A new transatlantic imprint connects Tenerife and Bolivia in a shared groove language. CIRCA91’s debut brings together producers from both cities, tracing the early-90s lineage of house and techno through five muscular, analogue-heavy cuts. Andy Somoza & Aka Juanjo’s ‘Concentracion’ locks into a hypnotic swing, while Ritacco & Igna’s ‘Selecta’ channels crisp machine funk and dubbed-out shuffle. On the flip, Emi Koto dives into deep, heads-down territory with ‘Current State’, before Gian fires up ’90s Bizarre’ – a dense, percussive workout with flashes of acid tension. Santiago Ritacco closes with ‘Blow’, equal parts jack and hypnosis.
