Chapeau Music presents its third 12″, and this one introduces rising talent M.I.T.A., who drops a dynamic four-tracker. The title track, ‘Money Driven’, locks the dancefloor with its punchy vocal, tight groove and infectious cadence and is complemented by a precise remix from Elisa Bee. On the B-side, ‘My Love’ offers a filtered, groove-driven anthem that radiates joy while retaining functional dancefloor energy. Closing the EP, Movie Scene shows M.I.T.A. has plenty of original creative reserves as he layers delicate melodic fragments and high-pitched vocals above a steady rhythm that balances freedom of movement but hypnotic structure. Technical skill and playful musicality abound here. Hats off to Chapeau.
