Originally released on his own PLAY003 label, the record carved a niche within the hardgroove, techno and electro trenches, earning play from the likes of Ben Sims, Marco Bailey and DJ Pepo. The 2025 edition has been remastered and reconfigured so that the standout cut ‘Player 003 B1’ now leads the A-side for improved cut quality, a smart tweak to honour its ruddy pedigree.
