Both artists arrive with pedigrees: Anne with releases on Soma and Hardgroove, and Sera J on Life In Patterns and Renegade Methodz. Ten tunes balance each’s complementary approach to modern techno, J with stripped cuts ‘Ransomware’, ‘Phosphate’ and ‘Anthrax’, and Anne with the acid headbites of ‘Dementia’ and ‘Heart Rate’, plus ‘A Taste Of A Real Woman’, with its slurries of vocoded voice wettening the left and right channels.
