Waveform Studies – 012 10

The 012 label opens a new chapter with ‘Waveform Studies’, a five-artist compilation shaped on bleep accents and hypnotic techno cycles. Label head Claudio PRC presses reset with ‘Pulse’, a slow-blooming piece crammed with a deep, humid pressure, before French artist Eman moves more to moods of nighttime nihility with ‘Vacuum’. Italian artist Riccardo De Polo follows with ‘Aseptic’, a pared-back jolt for topsy-turvy body clocks, while Venezuelan-born, Berlin-based Isabel Soto widens the frame with the airy glide of ‘Voluta’. Digital-only closer ‘Sinus’ by Leo Cologna rounds out the set, adding a final, sine-led shimmer.
