Dutch producer Robbert Latumahina, appearing as Robbert Mononom bit also otherwise known as Sensory Overload and Hybrid Systems, channels his roots in the legendary Mononom Soundsystem, the crew behind the Netherlands’ first ‘teknivals’ and collaborators with Hardcore Peace Generation and Spiral Tribe, after ongoing police harassment and the Criminal Justice Bill forced them onto the continent. Across three elongated tracks, Mononom delivers raw, uncompromising freetekno: pounding rhythms, relentless energy, and caustic sonic textures that assault the senses while retaining a trance-like flow.
