Tar Hallow 42
Skudge firma la referencia número 42 del sello Tar Hallow con cuatro pelotazos originales listos para partir la pista.
Urban Dictionary has an entry on skudge: «a tar-like substance with rank odor.» Whether we’ll take that as pre-lexical fact, we have to agree that the esteemed, once duo-alias of Elias Landberg and Gustaf Wallnerstrom – and now only a Landberg solo project – has a wicked good techno name, sounding like what you might call a kind of waste exudate produced by over-strained soundsystems. It’s also an addictive substance, of course: since 2009 we’ve been served a steady supply of Skudge, and are now fiends for it. ‘Tar 42’ is the new one through TH Tar – kindred spirits, since they also happen to be named after reconstituted bitumen. Throughout, from ‘Aalto’ to ‘Raw Track’, we’ve hell’s bells, warped alarms, LED-blink locked grooves; everything goes.
