Vibracid 4: Total Recall – Cosmic Tribe 16

This fourth instalment from the Vibracid network leans hard into its own mythos, but the strength of the record lies in how convincingly the fiction translates to sound. There’s a physical charge running through the electro and techno here, music that feels designed for dark rooms and late hours. Calagad 13’s opener hits with brute confidence, all snap and low-end pressure, while Saigg and Zyl push things into tenser, more claustrophobic territory where rhythm feels slightly unstable. Flip the record and the mood shifts. Lups Digga keeps the body moving, but it’s Roi and Cliff Dalton who give the compilation its afterimage, closing things out with tracks that linger and suggest something reflective beneath the machinery.
