It’s been a while since we heard from Berlin-based Kaan Pirecioglu, who could rightly be called a techno producer in pursuit of purity and stylish functionality. Fur:ther Sessions signs him up for this new outing, which finds him home in on copy perfection once more. ‘Breakpoint’ is rippled with swirls of synth as more mangled bass brings form down low. ‘Delta Rhythm’ brings classic sonar blips and molten bells that always remind of peak Jeff Mills, but in a more gritty framework. Markus Suckut remixes with his usual deft touch and kinetic rhythms before ‘Weird On Top’ shuts down with an uneasy vibe as if you’re caught in the beam of a search light while on the run.
