From his base in Italy, Luca Accardi claims he always seeks to fuse his love of nature with his knack for deep techno. Maybe his particular integrates in interplanetary nature because these sounds take you to distant worlds, lunar landscapes and barren floating rocks devoid of human presence but rich in possibility. ‘Galactica’ is a linear roller with sleek pads peeling off the rumbling low ends, ‘Duna’ has more pronounced punch but still holds back and ‘Monazite’ puts on its marching boots and never relents. Two more equally elevated tools close out a dub-centric EP of bold, rolling rhythm.
