YUKU kicks off its exclusive white-label series with the first in a line of vinyl-only releases spotlighting familiar artists exploring fresh aliases. This debut instalment delivers four precise 130 BPM club tracks, some of which have already had airplay from tastemakers including Madam X, Tom Ravenscroft and Surgeon. ‘Jump’ is a blistering and maximal rhythmic workout with eerie vocal treatment. ‘I’m In’ lands with the weight of a hundred elephants and has blistering vocals, while a Synkro remix of ‘Shotta’ is raggedy-ass and prickly. This first 12″ sets the tone for what look slick it could be an innovative series from YUKU.
