Sirat (Soundtrack) – Invada 345 LP C1
Ya está aquí la banda sonora de la aclamada película Sirat. Música por Kanding Ray premiada a mejor banda sonora en el festival de Cannes.
Berlin producer and sound artist David Letellier – best known by his alias Kangding Ray, which he uses to careful effect here – steps into scoring with this soundtrack for Sirat, a desert-set drama by director Oliver Laxe following father and son, as they search for their missing daughter among a drifting, waste-laying community of ravers in southern Morocco. The newly acclaimed film is an horrific hoot and Letellier’s music mirrors the tension of incongruity in a desert of careless festivity, as electronic minimalism and corroded tones pull on the same underlying motifs of tension-and-release as the most glaring of EDM numbers (Ray himself is well aware of techno’s mechanisms). A must-listen, and must-watch.
