Hamburg-based Extrawelt return with a three-track addendum that treats techno like a moral manifesto. The title alone, ‘iNo Pasaran!’, arrives waving a barricade banner, and the track follows suit: a rolling, muscular bassline stalks forward while chords loom and recede like storm fronts over concrete. ‘Arctic Dead Run’ is acid in a snowstorm as 303 lines spiral with manic purpose before a frail, slightly tender melody slips in, blinking against the glare. Then the hi-hats snap and the whole thing locks into steel. ‘Clipping Me Softly’ eases the pulse with nocturnal swing and wide pads that glow at the edges. Rave-lit, and faintly mischievous.
