Hertsmere Road EP – Planet Rhythm BLK 158

Mython started the year with a bang back in January when he dropped a new EP on Oura, and now he builds on that with an EP for the mighty Planet Rhythm. ‘Translate’ opens with a sweet mix of forceful drums but more thinking synths up top. ‘Swift’ is a hefty and dubby techno sound that is like polluted waters breaking up against a concrete wall. ‘Two For One’ has a shimmering deep space fuzz and streamlined drums and ‘Hertsmere Road’ is more glitchy, gritty and human but in a depraved world of decay. ‘Lfoverload’ and ‘OFF» bring yet more variety to an EP, endless utility.
