Volume eight naturally contains plenty of must-check treats, from 21st century French deep house don DJ Steaw’s wonderfully melodious, tactile and atmospheric take on N.Y Housin’ Authority’s ‘Window Guards’, and Brit veteran Steve Mac’s sweat-soaked, big room ready reshape of The Sound Vandals’ ‘Tonight’s The Night’, to Dazzle Drums’ immersive, sunrise-ready remix of another N.Y Housin’ authority deep house gem (‘Apt 3B’), and Seamus Haaji’s smooth, shuffling rearrangement of Utopia Project’s tuneful and warming ‘File #1’.
