Scope se encarga de hacer sonar la referencia número 72 del sello Non Series con cuatro temazos originales.
Hypermodern techno label Non Series, helmed by Psyk, updates its firmware with a debut release from Scope, the Barcelona-based producer who’s appeared on the label previously, but only in collaboration, most substantially on the 2021 Temporal Rift LP with Diego Oroquieta. Mire is the new solo statement, with hallucinatory bureau-core acid techno, the floor space dissolving into synthetic high-rise texture and echo. ‘Mire and ‘Immersed’ set the the tone of a sound packed with alien gargles and chirps, before our favourite ‘Antinomy’ opposes the A’s comparative lightness with a sinister, ghostly riser (you can almost surely see the pattern on the groove on this one), before ‘Pivot’ turns back to springier practices.
