Firstly, great title. Secondly, Dutchman M-High continues his rapid ascent as one of the leading names in the new wave of groovy tech house heads. This one has already been dropped by dons of this sub-genre such as Chris Stussy, Marlon Hoffstadt and Kettama and it’s easy to hear why. The title cut is both punchy and precise but loose and trippy. ‘Taking Time’ overloads the mix with sugary synth zip and big, snappy drums and ‘Thief Of Joy’ then explores a more languid, sinewy brand of proggy tech. ‘Here We Go Again’ closes with a deeper atmosphere and supple kicks that carry you into the night.
