T Dave works his acid to sound like sparkling droplets of alien saliva; the Bristol adjacent debuter for We’re Going Deep provides their eleventh instalment in a four-track 12″, and an early step in their catalogue under Paul Wise’s Placid alias. Though with little background on the artist, you’re in for a show of skilful force: ‘A-1’ and ‘Bilaterale’ demonstrate a producer in their highest zone, no element taking absolute centre stage, each instead worked like an ensemble piece. ‘Drive’ and ‘Distanze Logaritmiche’ are more minimalistic and breathable, hearing fainting sirens whirr and basses bumping through the dew.
