The Miller’s already been busy this year with a big outing on Backspin Records in February and now two Eps coming on TH Tar Hallow out of the Netherlands. This one starts full a fully charged techno workout that spits and fizzes like a fresh log on an open fire. ‘Mimer’ taps into a similar free tekno-adjacent style but reframes it for a more modern ear and then ‘Mode’ loads up a tribal rhythm with fuzzy distortion and barrelling toms that never let up. ‘Bure’ closes with a sense of celebration and machine techno funk that is turned up to 11.
