Spectra (reissue) – M Plant 52
Reedición remasterizada de la referencia número 52 del sello M-Plant de Robert Hood con sus cuatro temrracos.
M-Plant’s Perpetual Masters series has been systematically excavating Hood’s Detroit catalogue throughout 2026, that is one track per week digitally, then select titles to vinyl. Spectra is the monumental 52nd entry; originally released in 2001, and four tracks built from the tightly controlled minimalism Hood had been refining since his Underground Resistance years. ‘Spectra’ and ‘Untitled’ are the star joints on the A and B-side respectively, as mouthy acid saws gurgle and writhe in a bowl of delectable beats. ‘E. Dark’ and ‘Fiend’ are equal ones to watch, but chart drier trajectories. Jeff Mills dropped the title track in his Wired ’03 Japan set, dating the record’s timeless reach accurately.
