Granada producer Calagad 13 continues the Vibradcuid series on Cosmic Tribe, extending a run of releases circling electro, breaks and dystopian sci-fi concepts. Further into that concept, we close in on a nicher edge of that world – imagined tech, memory control, resistance – scope homing tightly in on engineered club mags. ‘Triumphator’ sets the pace with clipped drums and voltage-charged synth lines, its EC13 X-Ta-6 rework sharpening the rhythmic edge, while ‘Alto Voltaje (Club)’ pushes further into peak-time territory. On the flip, ‘Aire Fresco (Vbrcd Rmx)’ loosens the structure slightly, before ‘Colosal’ lands in two versions – original and club mix – both built on punchy low-end and terse melodic hooks.
