Hyena – Electric Ballroom 54

Thomas Schumacher’s Electric Ballroom label, running since 2011 out of Berlin, is where ADHS first appeared, his 2018 debut ‘Decipher’ with Jose Bonetto catching Adam Beyer’s ear early. Their relationship deepened considerably in 2023 after a remix of Schumacher’s 1998 number ‘When I Rock’ for its 25th anniversary, the result hitting number one on the German Club Charts ladder. ‘Hyena’ is his latest solo 12″ on the label, clocking two ferocious new tracks: the original on the A and a remix from Swedish producer Pierre J, operating as Hertz, both tracks bringing gargantuan, hardstyle-flirting sound design fit for giants.
