From right up the length of this Manchester label’s sleeve – run by DJ Cosworth – fall out four artists with equal contributions of reliable sonic jack. First, pree the A: City Zoo opens with ‘Girl’, with its deep sexual charge and blazing Do The Right Thing summeriness, packed full of faint, clickety vocal manipulations; Onward follows with the deadpan ‘Taxi Driver’, no less averse to sitting still, if a little deeper. Aiden Baker’s ‘Bass Freestyler’ works the low-slung 4-step corner, while Occupa’s ‘Mad Style’ closes on tougher, least-swung terms.
