Molecular Recordings has been running since 1994 – one of the genuinely pioneering UK techno labels, home over the decades to DJ Bone and Chris Liebing – and the Structure Series launched in 2024 to mark the label’s 30th anniversary, mixing veteran names with newer signings. First on this third volume we’ve Mal Hombre and None, the former’s ‘Overview Effect’ adding much anxiety and alarm to the personal paradigm shift experienced by astronauts when observing a complete Earth from above, with naked eyes. The B-side highlight is ‘Strange Monday’ by Danilo Vigorito, with his vigorous kicks and analogue warning-system sound.
