The Dutch label’s Alkaline series is a mutated variant of a longer-going acid sound, tracks pitched increasingly as sound design tools as well as club clatterers. Roi’s become a fixture on the imprint since his involvement in Xtrictly Electro, known there for his. sharp, detail-heavy approach, and now again here with the whip-cracking, noise-backed ‘Tana’ especially. Raakei Bloody Raakei’s contributions are snappier, ‘Near Life Experience’ alluding to the emergence of robot consciousness with percussions that are about as hard as you can possibly get.
