Micro Driver III – Drivecom 22

This Micro Driver series emerges from hibernation for a third instalment and wastes no time reminding you why you loved the series in the first place. Four Spanish producers offer up four distinct electro visions: Madrid veterans Roberto Gemelin (Groof) and Luis Rozalen (HD Substance) share the vinyl with the electro alias of established techno producer C-System and the Dusseldorf/Detroit minimalism of Emulador. Groof’s ‘Lucid Dream’ opens proceedings with arresting style before Emulador’s ‘Codigo Fuente’ takes things somewhere more futuristic and stripped. Spectrum Data Forces hits hard and tight on the flip before HD Substance closes with ‘Klang07.’. A welcome return.
