Split Series 002 – Ritmo Galactico 03

Back in December 2024, Spain’s Ritmo Galactica imprint launched its ‘Split Series’ via an EP featuring ear-catching cuts from Bossobility and Look Perry. Some 19 months on, the series returns with Po and Paolo Mosca handling a side each. The former gets busy on side A, cycling through chugging, arpeggio-driven neo-Italo-disco (‘Money’), dark, warped and bass-heavy tech-house creepiness (‘RTT’), and pleasingly throbbing, synth-powered electro-disco nostalgia (‘First Floor’, with its dead-eyed female spoken word vocals). Mosca, meanwhile, delivers two future gems on side B, where the acid-fired, deliciously psychedelic and undeniably pulsating ‘Future Breath’ is followed by the dreamy, wide-eyed, bleep-sporting sunrise chug of ‘Vision’.
