Big Taste EP – Hardcore Energy 02

FFF is one of hardcore jungle’s most enduring innovators and if you have any doubts about that, get stuck into the ‘Big Taste’ EP and come back to us. These are four ultra-fresh cuts that rewire classic rave DNA with effortless a style that cuts through and, as always, immaculate production. ‘Future Is Made’ floats on atmospheric pads and rolling breaks, while ‘The Key’ toughens things up with uplifting pianos and wobbling bass as well as lashings of hardcore energy. On the flip, the title track blends chopped vocals, crisp breakbeats and footwork-inspired rhythms into an irresistible groove before ‘Way You Dance’ signs off with a breezy 4/4 amen roller. Hardcore jungle made with real finesse. You know the score.
