One of Portsmouth’s most deep-in junglists, Damian’s Ghost swears by individual expression in hewing close to the drum & bass genre: «lots of people are making jungle music, but only Damian’s Ghost makes Damian’s Ghost», he cites tactically in a quote from fellow producer Fracture. Astrophonica describe his music, all the while, as «authentically deep jungle music», and we can hear why. ‘Echo Chamber’ effectively asks the listener to expend more attentive efforts than they would normally for any other EP, its core «just give a chance to my heart» vocal vying for our ears against casually against rolling 808s and default-mode chord pads.
