Always Drifting EP – Wilderness 06
Response & Pliskin producen los cuatro trackazos que forman la sexta referencia del sello Widerness.
A title like ‘Always Drifting’ is sure to capture the feeling of our present-day conundrum. Do we embrace our collective digital groundlessness, or do we break the cycle? Manchester drum & bass ragers Response & Pliskin don’t claim to have the answer. They do, however, know when to interrupt the question – with rollage. Deep and textural, closer to Fresh Memory and Seabeams than anything dancefloor-first, their new EP hears them take a break from their usual trade in ear-ransacking amen rattle for steady-rocking liquid, with echoes of dub and classic intelligent d&b.
