Clergy Splits 04 – Clergy 42
Franco Rossi y Pierce comparten este split de seis cortes para la referencia número 42 del sello Clergy.
Clergy is a techno label all about dancefloor business and nothing else. Its latest split kicks off with Franco Rossi, who wastes no time laying down a killer groove on ‘Alma Matter’, detailing it only with a loopy percussive pattern and some subtle psychedelic swirls. ‘Imaginario Puro’ is deeper, more mental, and a warm techno tunnel in which to get lost. ‘Radias’ cuts loose with scratchy textures and off-grid synth motifs, then Pierce takes care of the flip with a darker and more moody opener. ‘Toledo Sins’ gets amped up and textural with twanging metals and distant squeals then ‘Detachment’ shuts down with that nervy, twitchy acid style that Jeff Mills favoured in his early days.
