Flowz – BCCO 05

Tough new techno tackle from Italian light Luigi Madonna, not to be confused with any religious icons except if you’re a zealot of club corners like DSTRKT or Gotec yourself. Though he’s got releases out of his ears, stretching back well over a decade, this is his first release on Berlin lighthouse BCCO, emissaries of things cutting edge, as they put it. Described aptly as «modern timeless», ‘Flowz’ is a suspenseful, cake-taking EP, big on sudden rhythmic outbursts, mutant laboratory atmospheres and latching claps.
