Magic Power 10
Beste Hira protagoniza la décima referencia del sello Magic Power con cuatro temarracos originales recién salidos del horno.
Dutch deep technoist Beste Hira steps up to Magic Power with a four-track that is magnificently supple, stripped back and rhythmically irresistible. ‘Chess’ and ‘Liquid’ open the A-side with the kind of psychedelic deep house precision that’s become the producer’s signature – minimal but never lacking in atmosphere. ‘Jaja’ gets a little more ragged and strays from the grid with hiccuping drums and scattered percussion and Loidis aka Brian Leeds, better known as Huerco S – reworks it into a sprawling, nine-minute Last Call Mix that feels like a perfect late-night trip. Top-notch from front to back.
