Waffles Kru – Waffles BXL 02
Delian Sound produce los dos temazos que componen este discazo editado por el sello Waffles & UKG, con remixazo de Waffles Kru..
London-born, Cambridge-based Delian Sound has an undying fondness for the garage and dubstep crossover sounds of the early 00s and uses it as the main inspiration in his own work, as well as elements of electronic pioneers such as Delia Derbyshire. Waffles BXL welcomes him for his next 12″ and it keeps things characteristically playful on ‘Secrets,’ which is all bells, chimes and wonky, chiming two-step charm. ‘Sinners’ flips the mood and is darker and more wobbly with bass-driven unbalance, and the label’s in-house Waffles Kru rework it into something dustier – a deft 2-step skipper that floats amid FX, ghostly pads and plenty of alluring shadows.
