Mutual Rytm Versus 03
Kameliia y Blanka se encargan de la tercera referencia de la serie Versus del prestigoso sello Mutual Rytm.
Mutual Rytm’s Versus series hits its third chapter and pairs Bulgarian-born Kameliia with Berlin’s BLANKA for their long-awaited debut EPs. Kameliia opts for cinematic and melancholic here. ‘Bird In A Cage’ opens heavy and eerie, ‘Red Sky’ pushes into icy, hypnotic darkness and ‘Lightness’ unsettles with paranoid leads and vocal fragments. BLANKA counters with warmth and intimacy and her voice is central throughout: ‘Say It With Me’ locks into a dubby groove, ‘Self Pleasure’ turns cosmic and rubbery, ‘Rabbit Habits’ finds light within the darkness. A well-matched pairing that pushes the series into deeper, more atmospheric territory.
