25 Years Visitor Part 5 – Visitor 25 05

Three tracks, making up the fifth and final chapter of a reissue campaign resurrecting the Ghent label Visitor, which ran to around 41 releases before folding in 2006. This entity bills itself as the Belgian answer to the dark, hypnotic tech house hybrids then undergoing popular conception and reshaping in London. Original label A&R Fred Nasen gets his stars on this fifth and final vinyl issue (divvying up the wider compilation for consumability), seeing three origs of his: ‘Sunday Visitor’, a rubbery shuttle-load of shuffle, then ‘Get Down’ and ‘Stickiness’, beat-backed uproars of rough minimal scuffle both.
