From there, the EP holds that cold, vast atmosphere without ever losing its floor-readiness. ‘Event Horizon’ pulls more inward, ‘Alien Commentary’ pushes outward, ‘Space Travellers’ locks into a groove that feels both ancient and extraterrestrial and ‘Fades’ closes on something elegiac. Bleak and rigorous but utterly transportive.
