New York house innovator Satoshi Tomiie teams with Berlin-based sound sculptor Kamran Sadeghi as Takt for Acid Futurism, a 12″ that twists techno into sparse pressure-scapes. Their first joint record under this name, it rides a blade’s edge of dissociated pulse and minimality, from the set pace of ‘Strike’ to the sinewy perc-olations of ‘Tropic’. The title cut ramps up acidic bite, and ‘The Landing’ closes with spacious tension and low-end weight. Both producers bring long-running experimental streaks to the session, Tomiie from decades of deep house innovation, Sadeghi from installations and avant electronics.
