Para la sexta referencia del sello AcidLab tenemos un Various Artists de cuatro cortes con grandes nombres del género.
Yellow vinyl, no messing – the sixth Acid Lab yield hardens the core of the 303, and pushes it past rubicons prevously thought uncrossable. Koko AcidLab and Acidrats double up on this sonic corroder’s A-side with ‘Skape From Babylon’ and ‘Acid Education’, both riding that classic squelch line but nevertheless innovating by way of a real fusion: accelerant voxes, laser-down tok kicks. Flip over and Sterling Moss & Joe Giacomet bring ‘The Third Space’, letting an industrial edge creep in, before Dica closes with ‘High Voltage’, shorter but no less direct, transposing the ’03 lower till it sounds like filtered, donk-backed gremlin spawn. Part of that ongoing AcidLab run out of Eindhoven, here’s a truly beguiling wax the colour of wax.
