INVDA is a hypotonic techno specialist from Austria with more than a decade in the game behind him. His new 12″ on Planet Rhythm opens with the uneasy synth threat of ‘Fractured Time’ before ‘Grinder’ is rubbery and bouncy and ‘Echo Of Resistance’ inks into a smoky, late-night world of mystic techno with plenty of atmosphere. ‘Hyperdimensional’ is a speedy and loopy cut for peak-time cruising and ‘Duality Of Mind’ thumps a bit harder but still keeps plenty of evocative designs drift above the groove. ‘Alchemy’ is the more unhinged and mental closer for when you really want to get twisted.
