It kicks off with some darker, acid-laced electro that has menacing bass and kicks so booming your eardrums will tickle. Hatch’s ‘Future Sounds Of A Laundrette’ has all the loopy clatter you might expect of a tune with such a title and Defunkt Dialekt then layers up the most rustic sounds, prickly hits and squealing synths into something utterly arresting on ‘Take Aim.’ Last of all is the high-speed intergalactic electro workout that is Lectro Cod E’s ‘Don’t Want No Smoke’ with its crisp boom-bap and coruscated bass.
