All Day EP – Planet Rhythm BLK 160

A.Paul is one of the techno powerhouses in Lisbon who has long been driving his scene forward. He’s prolific, too, with a massive discography that covers plenty of diverse styes. This hefty double 12″ on Planet Rhythm touches on many of them, all rooted in rock-solid rhythms for gritty warehouses. There are more roomy, deep cuts like the sonar-laced ‘Kanna’ and anxiety-inducing and maniacal workouts like ‘Locomotive’ in amongst scruffy, weight dub techno rollers such as ‘Native’ and the more atmospheric and artfully uneasy cuts like ‘Xenon’.
