Dutchman Martin Stromstedt aka Martinou is a master of dream-inducing techno as he once again shows on his return to the cult Nous Klaer Audio. ‘Ready To Let Go’ is soft and fuzzy, with synth looping ad infinitum around no real focal point and just a deep groove that constantly simmers below. ‘Surge’ is more forward-moving with a rubbery bassline but still has many lush layers of melodic bliss. ‘Find Me’ brings melancholy to the fore with sombre leads rising and falling over more fluffy drums. ‘Paean’ shuts down with the most serene vibe of the lot – widescreen ambient arcs and paddy drums that keep you adrift in your own mind.
