Archive Of Disappearing Now – Dolly TS 17

DJ Agitated is a Belgian electronic veteran who makes a return to Steffi’s superb dolly TS series for a third EP. This one finds him heading into new territory: ‘Conflicted’ is perfectly lithe, luminous but rooted Detroit techno with shimmering synths flashing though the mix, and ‘Archive Of A Disappearing Now’ is another serene, sophisticated Detroit techno banger. ‘La Boulette’ is leggy, weighty but warm techno with more anxious patterns in the synths but still a comforting blanket of dub. ‘Do You Want Salt On That?’ Is pure hi-tek soul with classy sustained synth strings and a broody drama forever bubbling up through the drums. Perfect for body and mind.
