Seclusion’s fourth vinyl transmission is a various artists remix EP that spans techno electro and ghetto house courtesy of some of those sound’s finest practitioners. ‘Triumph’ by Elyas DJ Sack has extra drive through a rework from DJ Shufflemaster, who homes in on the drums. ‘Paramount’ from Samuel L Session gets reworked by DJ T-1000 into a lithe, linear techno sound with the slightest of glitchy textures. Black Tony’s mix is warped and off-balance, ‘Trancedans’ leans into shifting sequences courtesy of Anne and DJ Deeon adds unmistakable Windy City edge with the closer and best cut of the lot.
